Neutron-Initiated Chemical Laser Experiments,

Abstract

235UF6:H2 and F2:H2:3He gas mixtures were irradiated with a pulsed neutron source. No HF lasing was observed, but it was shown that HF could be produced. The maximum HF produced was approximately equal to 50-70% of the initial 235UF6 concentration. (Author)
