Soviet Military Doctrine: Its Continuity - 1960-1970

Abstract

A carefully documented review is made of the subject as it is presented in the writings and speeches of Soviet authorities. The study is divided into the Khrushchev Doctrine (1961-1964) and the Brezhnev Doctrine (1964-1970). The author concludes by summarizing the most important constant themes in Soviet military doctrines.
