The Effect of Antibiotic Prophylaxis on the Oral Hygiene and Periodontal Health of Naval Recruits.

Abstract

The effect of mass, rountine penicillin and sulfadiazine prophylaxis on the oral hygiene and periodontal health of young male adults was assessed. No differences referrable to the drug regime could be discerned between experimental and control groups. (Author)
