Abstract
The report describes the design, development, and test results of a digital filter implementation for a single channel of an FDM group demultiplexer. The digital filter is a non-recursive type with a symmetric impulse response that produces the specified amplitude characteristics with zero delay distortion. The small amount of observed delay distortion is due to the analog pre- and post-processing filters. The report includes the preliminary design of a complete 12-channel FDM group multiplexer based on the digital processing techniques developed under this contract. (Author)
