Contact Thermal Conductivity of Powders in Vacuum at Various Limiting Temperatures,

Abstract

The nature of the thermal resistance of the contact of two particles in a vacuum was studied and a model is suggested for this phenomenon. A formula is given for the contact thermal conductivity which was checked with exponential data. (Author)
