Abstract

The following types of erosions are classified and discussed: electrical erosion, break-contact erosion, make contact erosion, electrically explosive erosion, contactless erosion, gas-discharge erosion, plasma erosion, erosion in arc discharges, erosion in glow discharges, erosion in spark discharges, and erosion in pulsed-arc discharges.
