Crucible for Melting and Pouring Titanium,

Abstract

A crucible for melting and pouring titanium and its alloys in vacuum lined furnaces is distinguished in that with the goal of decreasing contamination of the metal bath and increasing the explosion safety of the furnace, it is made in the form of a solid part whose internal profile corresponds to the profile of the stationary pool of liquid metal.
