System Dynamics and the Analysis of Social Policy,

Abstract

A social policy is always imbedded in a feedback structure and associated with the management of one or more social conditions. There has been considerable debate as to the substance of system dynamics and the applicability of this methodology to the analysis of social policy. The paper presents an evaluation of system dynamics and its relevance for policy analysis. (Author)
