Viscosity and Melting Temperature of Slags Used in Steel Casting,
Abstract
To improve the surface of ingots the steel is cased under a layer of slag. A substantial influence on the quality of such steel may be exerted by the viscosity and the temperature range of melting the slags. The present work is concerned with the study of these properties. (Author)
