Device for the Recording of the Forces in Parachute Shroud Lines,

Abstract

The invention concerns a parachute-shroud-line force-recording device equipped with diamond-carrying springs which deform under the action of the forces in the shroud lines. These diamonds provide a recording of the force variation curve on a rotating glass disk. The distinguishing features of the invention lies in the fact that in order to eliminate any effect by external factors on the uniformity of rotation of the disk, the latter is rotated by a system of two flywheels interconnected by gear wheels mounted on their axles and made to rotate by a preprimed spring.
