Data Processing Device,

Abstract

The data processing system is designed for use in processing aerial magnetic survey data. Its circuit design permits the elimination of an operational storage and makes it possible to use the computer in field conditions to provide the information necessary for correcting the survey routes. The computer consists of an input unit for introducing the data, recorded on magnetic tape, another input unit for information, stored on punched tape, an arithmetic unit, consisting of a selection unit for selecting the variations, an anomalous field calculator, a total correction calculator, storage registers for normal field and normal gradient and a registration unit.
