Linear Expansion of Common and 'Black' Dinas Bricks during Their Heating,

Abstract

The article discusses the results fo a study into the behavior of so-called 'black' dinas brick, in comparison to common-variety brick, with respect to its linear expansion during the heating process, and also with respect to the degree to which a mineralizer (blast furnace dust) introduced into the charge affects the regeneration of quartz. No substantial expansion difference between the two types was discovered. (Author)
