Asymptotic Solution of Problems of Gas Lubrication of High-Speed Bearings with Injection,

Abstract

It was found that the following two pressurization versions are most preferable in high-speed sectional bearings: a continuous pressurization distribution along the whole streamlined surface of the working section; and a cascade pressurization system consisting of one or several rows of feeding apertures located along lines perpendicular to the sliding direction. Calculation results are presented. (Author)
