Excitation of Electromagnetic Waves in a Plasma Where Electrons Have a Directional Velocity Relative to the Ions,

Abstract

Studies of electromagnetic wave excitation in an unlimited system consisting of ions and electrons moving in an external magnetic field show that excitation and propagation perpendicular to the electron waves, without fulfilling Cerenkov conditions, is possible. (Author)
