Research on the Process of the Pressure Change of Fluid in an Axial-Reciprocating Pump,

Abstract

An estimation is given of the effect of fluid overflow through the connecting opening between the pump cylinder and the hydraulic transmission cavity on the process of change in the stressed state of the fluid in the working cell of an axially reciprocating pump. The quantity of fluid flowing through a connecting opening of given area is determined, and a formula for the differential time dependence of the change in the pressure drop between the connecting volumes is presented. The dependence of the area of the opening on the angle of rotation of the cylinder block is ascertained. (Author)
