Rounding Invariant Structures.

Abstract

The report is the first one of a series of three papers which are intended to given an axiomatic approach to those spaces in which numerical computations are usually done. The first part of the present paper brings the definitions of the basic properties and first examples of a space, which is called a completely ordered ringoid. In the second part, in the case of a linearly ordered set, the rounding invariance of such a space is proved, which means that the properties of a completely ordered ringoid are also given on a screen, if the operations on the screen are defined by optimal symmetric roundings.
