A Model for Teletype Communications Evaluation.

Abstract

The report describes an analytic model for the evaluation of teletype communication networks. The queueing model determines average delay by priority category for both full duplex teletype channels. The main body of the report provides the general concept of the model. The appendices must be read to gain the knowledge needed to exercise the model. The computer program is included. The model is particularly useful in ill-defined situations requiring the evaluation of many alternatives. (Author)
