Evaluation of Atmospheric Transport and Diffusion.

Abstract

The major portion of contractural effort during the period covered by this report has been devoted to verification of the wiring of the general purpose analog computer patchboards which contain the system of equations proposed for simulating a tropical forest atmosphere. Included in this verification has been the establishment of a procedure that will permit checking of all wiring connections in a minimum amount of time. A set of data representative of a tropical forest atmosphere has been assembled for initial testing of the proposed equation system. These data are included in this report along with a brief description of the environment in which the data were collected. Tentative solutions obtained by use of these data as input values for the tropical forest equations are included in order to illustrate the nature of the simulation. (Author)
