Thermography in the Measurement and Management of Combat Burn and Wound Healing.
Abstract
Real time intraoral infrared thermography has been accomplished with an AGA Thermovision system and polished front surface mirrors. Associated experiments have shown that airflow, convection currents, and curvature do not interfere with real time intraoral thermography. A model explaining the difference in curvature effects in mammographic as distinguished from orofacial thermography is proposed. (Author)
