Electronic Properties of Solid Surfaces.

Abstract

A new theory of elastic and inelastic low-energy-electron diffraction has been constructed, shown to describe all major features of experimental measurements, and applied to extract from such measurements the geometrical, vibrational, and electronic structure of the low-index faces of aluminum.
