Experimental and Analytical Sudies of Collision-Free Plasma Flows.
Abstract
Collision-free plasma flow phenomena have been investigated experimentally and analytically. An experiment on the effect of the charge exchange collisions between streaming ions and background neutral atoms and measurements of wakes behind simple bodies were conducted in a low-density plasma beam facility under carefully controlled laboratory conditions, in close coordination with theoretical analysis.
