Consideration of Influence of Inertial Forces in Bearings Operating at Variable Speeds,

Abstract

The nonstationary probem of lubrication of cylindrical journal friction bearings of infinite width operating in a reversible mode, i.e., with angular velocities variable in both magnitude and direction, is studied. The maximum angular velocity during a reversing period is taken as the characteristic velocity. (Author)
