Determination of Trace Elements in Nickel Base Alloys by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry.

Abstract

An investigation is described to ascertain whether or not atomic absorption spectrophotometry could be used to determine the concentration of trace elements such as silver (Ag), bismuth (Bi), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), phosphorus (P), and arsenic (As) in nickel alloys such as Udimet 500 without interference of other constituent elements.
