Photo Neutron Cross Section Measurements in the Energy Range 1-5 Mev.

Abstract

The range of monenergetic electrons of energies 2, 3.5 and 6.5 Mev was measured for carbon, aluminum, copper, tantalum and glass using microscopic slide cover glasses as detectors. The Be9 (gamma, n) and e,e'n) cross sections were measured from threshold to 5 Mev. The cross sections have been published and theoretical implications discussed in separate papers. (Author)
