The Effect of Eutectic Microstructures of the Mechanical Properties of Ceramic Oxides.

Abstract

The report reviews the third year of a research investigation directed toward an examination of the properties of oxide-oxide eutectics unidirectionally solidified to form composite microstructures, and describes the preparation and mechanical properties of several unidirectionally solidified, high melting point systems.
