Representation by Models of the Biomechanical System 'Man-Operator' under the Action of Random Vibrations (O Modelnykh Predstavleniyakh Biomekhanicheskoi Sistemy 'Chelovek-Operator' pri Sluchainom Vibratsionnom Vozdeistvii),

Abstract

In an attempt to determine the place and effect of man in an 'operator-machine' system, tests have been carried out to determine the dynamic characteristics of the human body. Values of the transmission function across the body were calculated, using the auto-correlations and spectral densities of the output and input vibration functions. Representative random oscillations were used and the subjects were tested for three postures. Results are given for the characteristic components of the models used for the three postures.
