An Instructional Model for Computer Assisted Instruction.

Abstract

An instructional model suitable for the implementation of the tutorial mode of computer assisted instruction (CAI) is described. General guidelines for the design of the model are presented. Course organization, instructional strategies and learning paths are discussed. The model provides for the accommodation of high, middle and low aptitude students in an adaptive learning environment. Flow charts are included in the report to depict graphically the learning contingencies and instructional strategies addressed in the design of the model. (Author)
