Viscosity of Nitrogen Tetroxide in Dense Gaseous State,

Abstract

The pressure dependence at a constant temperature of the dynamic viscosity of a reacting mixture (N2O4=2NO2) given was calculated at 300-1000K and 1-300 bars by using a pseudocritical constant method and from semiempirical mixing rules for the Lennard-Jones potential force. Both methods gave almost identical results, which differ by approximately 5-8 percent from experimental values. (Author)
