Evaluating the Safety Properties of Explosives (K Voprosu Otsenki Predokhranitelnykh Svoistv VV),

Abstract

A clear relationship between flash intensity in a fixed portion of the spectrum and the probability of ignition of a flammable ambient mixture has been established. Since the intensity is relatively easy to measure and provides a more stable result than the statistical probability determined from a series of tests, it is recommended that this test be given a thorough development.
