Abstract
The article describes a study of the basic (service) properties of the new 4Kh4M2VFS (DI-22) tool steel and the best known domestic and foreign steels of this type, as well as the operating life of dies of 4Kh4M2VFS steel in hot deformation of stainless and heat-resistant steels and alloys.
