A Guide to and an Abstracted Bibliography of Aircraft Side-Arm Control Stick Research.
Abstract
An expanding interest at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California, in research work on aircraft side-arm control sticks has necessitated the determination of the previous and ongoing projects involved with the development of side-arm control sticks. This paper presents a survey of the English language literature dealing with aircraft control sticks over the period of 1936 to 1971. The result of the survey is an abstracted bibliograph of significant literature related to the design and testing of aircraft control sticks and a guide to the literature. (Author)
