Data Survey and Analysis, Engineering Data Storage and Retrieval Project.
Abstract
The Engineering Data Storage and Retrieval (EDS and R) Project is concerned with improved information support services for U.S. Army Engineering activities. This Data Survey and Analysis effort has, through a series of inter-related efforts, made surveys of current equipment and activities in the EDS and R technical areas, made appropriate analyses, and reported the results in technical notes and reports. General programs, specific equipments, and broad surveys are included. A special index was prepared for microfilmed engineering data files. A program and systems directory was published concerning defined efforts to store and retrieve engineering data. A continuous technical review of the current literature was made and reported monthly.
