Pyrotechnic Flare Spectroscopy II,
Abstract
The relative spectral radiant power distribution in the visible region is presented of flames of four different flare formulas and at environmental pressures of 760, 630, 300, 225, 150, 75, 30, and 6 torr. The spectra show the degree of sodium line broadening from these illuminating flames as the pressure and sodium atom density change. (Author)
