Symposium on the Evaluation of National Systems (5th) Held in Arlington, Virginia, 16-18 Nov 71.

Abstract

The papers and comments are the result of the fifth in a series of Symposia held to provide general information on Systems Evaluation, and specific research performed for the Office of Civil Defense, Systems Evaluation Division (Research). This Symposium was sponsored by the Office of Civil Defense in cooperation with Institute for Defense Analyses who hosted it. The papers and comments have been collected and arranged by IDA and the proceedings published by OCD to provide a convenient reference for those performing research, and for those using the output of the research. The papers PROVIDE SOME INSIGHT INTO WAYS IN WHICH CIVIL DEFENSE RESEARCH CAN HAVE APPLICATION TO OTHER KINDS OF PROBLEMS, AND HOW RESEARCH OF OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES CAN BE APPLIED TO CIVIL DEFENSE USE.
