Laser Safety Goggles.

Abstract

The report describes a method for the evaluation of laser safety goggles physical and functional performance characteristics. It identifies supporting test, facilities, and equipment required and provides procedures for preoperational inspection, physical characteristics, safety, personnel training, compatibility with combat tasks, durability, maintainability, human factors, and value analysis. The method is applicable to test without laser beam use. Tests for laser radiation screening out capability are excluded. (Author)
