;Contents: Hydrocortisone metabolism in the adrenalectomized dog with measurements of the quantative significance of each organ in the total metabolic clearnace of hydrocortisone; Cortisol reponse to normotensive and hypotensive oligemia in the unanesthetized primate; Direct measurement of insulin secretory rate in shocked primates and post operative patients; Insulin response to hemorrhagic shock in the intact and adrenalectomized primate; Lung volumes and compliance; Lung volumes, ventilation, compliance and pulmonary gas exchange during shock in the dog; Lung volumes, ventilation and gas exchange in critically ill patients; Chromated platelet studies and capillary integrity; Cardiac output determinations.
