Abstract

The report describes a method for evaluation of individual load carrying equipment operational and functional performance characteristics. It identifies supporting tests, facilities, and equipment required. It provides procedures for preoperational inspection, physical characteristics, safety, personnel training, functional suitability, durability, reliability, maintainability, human factors, and value engineering. The report is applicable to packs, pouches, and frames.
