HF Backscatter Study at 19.4 MHz through Subauroral Ionosphere

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of direct scatter from field aligned E- and F-layer irregularities, as well as scatter from intense E(s) clouds on the 19.4 MHz oblique backscatter signal propagating via the F-layer.
