Disjoining Permutations in Finite Boolean Algebras,

Abstract

The existence of a map that permutes the members of a family of finite sets so that every set is mapped into a disjoint set is shown to be equivalent to a certain set of inequalities involving order-ideals of sets. Order-ideals themselves are shown to admit such permutations. (Author)
