Automatic Computation of Importance Sampling Functions for Monte Carlo Transport Codes-Phase III.

Abstract

The report describes the development and coding effort for constructing a computer program for the generation of biasing functions needed for the Monte Carlo solution of radiation penetration problems. Included is an analysis of technical difficulties that arose in the course of the development, and a description of possible approaches to bypass these problems. (Author)
