Scattering and Spectroscopy.

Abstract

A brief summary of work in the general areas of spontaneous scattering, stimulated scattering and molecular spectra is given. In spontaneous scattering measurement of sound speeds in SF6 were made. The effect upon the sound speed of frequency and density was studied. Shear waves in liquids and the Krishnan effect in plastics was another researched. Four topics in stimulated scattering are summarized. Finally the research summary lists work in IR spectroscopy.
