Principles of Hydraulics,
Abstract
The report contains information on hydrostatics, the basic concepts and laws of hydrodynamics, classification and methods for considering losses in head with motion of fluids, and we examine processes of the discharge of a fluid through openings and fittings. The basic concepts, processes, and equations of thermodynamics is presented. The book includes general information from the theory of pumps, and also reciprocating and rotary compressors. Special sections are devoted to reciprocating, centrifugal, gear-type, and rotary pumps. The elements of hydraulic systems and pneumatic devices for metal-cutting machines are examined. The text book is designed for students in machine-building technical schools. (Author)
