Abstract

The work is an attempt at experimental checking of hypotheses on the relation between stresses and deformations for nonlinear-elastic and elasto-plastic media. Qualitative analysis of deformation curves is given. The character of hardening of carbon steel with decreasing temperature depends on the form of stress state. The condition of similarity of deviators at low temperatures is violated for the investigated steel. (Author)
