An Ordered Table of Primitive Polynomials Over GF(2) of Degrees 2 Through 19 for Use with Linear Maximal Sequence Generators.

Abstract

The report contains a brief discussion of the practical aspects of generating binary linear maximal sequences. Included is a table of all primitive polynomials over GF(2) of degrees 2 through 19, not including reverses. These polynomials are ordered by the number of nonzero coefficients as well as by degree. This table is felt to complement other available tables. (Author)
