Airframe Integrity Investigations in Support of the Analytical Rework Program

Abstract

Airframe structural integrity investigations are performed by the Naval Air Development Center, under the cognizance of the Naval Analytical Rework Program, to provide technical support to the Naval Air Rework Facilities. The goal of this support is to assist in defining structural incongruities, necessity and depth of rework required, and to prove the adequacy, integrity, and service life of aircraft components. The investigations completed and/or initiated during fiscal year 1972 are reported.
