Light Perlite-Grog Insulating Refractories with a Specific Weight under 1 g/cc,

Abstract

The use of the combined method makes it possible to produce grade B light grog products with a specific weight of from 0.4 to 0.8 gram per cubic centimeter. The use of turgent perlite sand, in producing ultralight products, leads to a sharp reduction in the consumption of foam mixers in the charge, and reduces the specific weight of the initial mass, of the form moisture content, of the volume of the molds, the drying time of the unfired products, as well as wastes in the final processing of the finished products.
