Test Unit for Cylindrical Roller Bearings,

Abstract

The report describes a test stand for cylindrical roller bearings. The axial load bearing and test bearing are identical. To increase the accuracy of measurement of the friction moment distance a washer is used between bearing flanges. The washer is wider than possible axial displacement of both bearings. The stand contains a two-way shaft with test heads on each end subjected to radial pressure and axial load. The test head contains a housing tested bearing, identical radial load bearing with a space washer between them. A hydraulic cylinder with a load provides axial thrust measured by a pressure gauge.
