The Question of Velocity Profiles of Turbulent Flow on a Porous Surface,

Abstract

The plane turbulent gradient flow incompressible fluid along a propos surface in the presence of blowing or suction is analyzed. An expression for the velocity profiles is derived on the basis of Prandtl's relation between friction stresses and the energy of the pulsating velocity components, using a polynomial representation of the friction stress in the boundary layer.
