Abstract

Part 1 presents a description and nomenclature of all the parts and accessories of the modernized 7.62 mm Kalashnikov Assault Rifle. This part includes disassembly, assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting of the weapon. Part 2 describes operation of the weapon under various training and combat conditions. The Appendices include specifications and performance data on the weapon and on its various types of ammunition. (Author)
