Summary of Commercially Available Water Purification Systems

Abstract

The report reviews the capabilities of commercially available water purification systems for possible Air Force application to the Bare-Base Mobility Program. A list of firms which manufacture specific water treatment units and complete water treatment plants is included. The units which they produce are described and their applicability evaluated. The commercially available plants have not been designed with the requirements of the Mobility Program in mind. Many plants have the potential for modification to meet these requirements.
